Don't listen to those aunt agony columns. Long distance relationships can work just fine. You just need to put a little more effort into it, really. But isn't that the way it is in every relationship?
Gallimore,
a major manafacturer of disposable products based in North America,
came to know of us through SYSCO and their Malaysian business partners
TNGILL. It was love at first sight. Or rather, first email? By
now, we are all familiar with the online process of requisitions and
approvals through email and the occasional Skype call. Fostering a
working relationship through virtual means is no easy task, and subtle
nuances can get lost in the digitization of our messages. But we know
that if we stick to our principles of honesty and trust, we'll have a
long and rosy future with Gallimore (and our other clients, of course).
Cross-cultural
relationships work too, by the way, and our long-lasting commitment to
Gallimore (and theirs to us) is a testament to this. We've heard many
people lambasting their kind as corruptors of the Malaysian culture,
but we find them to be rather affable people, whose differences from
ourselves are interesting rather than irritable. And we are quite
certain they find us to be talented, reliable and even a little
street-wise. For sure, our consistently impressive work and work ethic
has bridged whatever cultural divide there previously was, if ever
there was any to begin with.
Need
proof? How about a multimedia sales kit, two flyer designs, and one
corporate folder, all designed in-house here at R&J Media
Resources, and fully endorsed by our partner from the other side of the
world?
